	About NEMO - Network of Excellence on Micro-Optics English (USA) NEMO is running since Sept. 1st 2004 and aims at providing Europe with a complete Micro-Optics food-chain by setting up durable service and technology centres for Optical Modelling and Design; Measurement and Instrumentation, Mastering, Prototyping and Replication; Hybrid Integration and Packaging; Reliability and Standardization. NEMO is the networking platform of 30 European partners, each of them a key-role player in micro-optics. The network is co-ordinated by Prof. Hugo Thienpont from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium, by Prof. Malgorzata Kujawinska from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, and by Dr. Juergen Mohr from ForschungsZentrum Karlsruhe, Germany. The newsletters of NEMO will appear once every three months. In the newsletter you will find short descriptions of NEMO partners and of the members of its Industrial User Club, activities within the NEMO network, announcements of job opportunities, upcoming workshops, conferences and events in the field of micro-optics,tutorials on micro-optics, breakthroughs in the fields, and many more. Subscribing to the NEMO newsletter
